Chrome copper

It is highly superior among alloys and is suitable for applications that handle heat and electricity, such as resistance welding electrodes!

"Chromium copper" is a high-copper alloy that is precipitation-hardened by adding approximately 0.4 to 1.2% chromium to copper. It is characterized by high electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance, along with excellent wear resistance and hardness. These properties make it widely used in applications such as backing plates for semiconductors, backing metal for bearings in gas turbines and steam turbines, and various resistance welding electrodes. Our company is capable of processing chromium copper. You can trust us with small lots, custom matching, short delivery times, large-scale processing, and ultra-precision machining. [Main Features] ■ High electrical and thermal conductivity: Extremely excellent among alloys, suitable for applications handling heat and electricity, such as resistance welding electrodes. ■ High heat resistance and wear resistance: Minimal reduction in hardness and tensile strength even in high-temperature environments, capable of withstanding long-term use. ■ High corrosion resistance and hardness: Resistant to rust, and the alloy is hard enough to produce hard chips during processing. ■ Precipitation-hardened alloy: Hardness and strength can be adjusted and improved through heat treatment (quenching and tempering). *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Processing of chrome copper

Widely used in tip electrode components such as cap chips! Hardness increases, making it more resistant to pressure.

"Chrome copper" is an alloy that combines approximately 1% chromium with copper. Compared to tough pitch copper, the addition of chromium slightly reduces conductivity, but it increases hardness and resistance to pressure, making it widely used in tip electrode components such as cap chips. At Natsume, we initially propose it as a general electrode material, and it is not an exaggeration to say that it is a metal specifically for electrodes. [Features] ■ Wide range of processing from 2mm to lengths of 3m and round material processing up to a maximum of 400φ ■ From small lots of 1 piece to mass production ■ Cutting, deep hole processing, bending, and joining ■ Compatible with various workpieces using the five-axis machining center "DMU 65 monoBLOCK" ■ Cutting possible with water jet regardless of material *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
